Reporting directly to our CEO, you will have considerable exposure into a lot of interesting fields of work across the entire company. You will be working closely with our C-level leadership team in Amsterdam to develop our futuristic performance management platform.
You will have total ownership of the Engineering function and develop it according to business needs and requirements at a high pace. You will create, drive and deliver our short and long term engineering vision and strategy, with the aim of improving customer loyalty (NPS) and keep our product = cutting-edge
You will also be responsible for mapping the engineering journeys and asses processes and practices and identify flaws and how these can be: Measured -> Evaluated -> Improved. Most importantly, you will lead and manage our engineering teams and lead effectively with a strong awareness of the roles of freedom and responsibility, with the aim on increasing attraction, motivation and retention of employees.
To be successful you’ll need:
As our new Head of Engineering, you should be smart and innovative, but with both feet on the ground. You are a veteran in the Cloud based sphere, with not less than 8 years experience in a similar role, focussed in e-commerce successfully leading engineering teams. Your have considerable leadership experiences with a track record of successfully growing teams in a fast technology company.
You are a person who naturally starts visionary thinking and innovation from actual concerns, and who has ability to see solutions beyond what the industry normally sees. You have enough tech knowledge and experience to know well what we should do next.

We are keen to see your contributions. As such, experience in leading small to large engineering teams is considered an asset
